We’re plugging into a Gbit connection here at seedboxhosting. Exciting times indeed. It’s a shared connection, of course, as a dedicated Gbit connection would cost northwards of 30k per month. We’re looking to get sustained speeds of 50-100mbits though, and that is a great thought.
SFTP is coming to a seedbox near you very soon.
Got another box being delivered soon, that’ll be fun to set up. Next round of people on the waiting list will be receiving account instructions!

by “sustained speeds of 50-100mbits”, what should we expect that to be for each seedbox…is that the 1,500 – 3,000 kbps that you are already offering?
sharegorg: Yes it is. Although these speed happen downloading to the box – its harder (although possible) to get this going out of the box. This is because of hardware limitations rather than bandwidth. With a ram upgrades coming soon, it should be a bit easier to sustain the amount of connections to get torrents to seed that fast.
